This brand new revival of A Fistful of Mondays crackles with energy and excitement throughout. A classic country soundtrack, lots of linedance action and a feelgood story.

Tom spends his evenings singing karaoke to an empty Walbersley Sports and Social Club, on its last legs. Not the most exciting existence and hardly making an effort to get back on the social scene since his divorce.

His world and that of bar manager Barry are turned upside down by the arrival of The Monday Night All Star Linedancing Club, who use the club as rehearsal space in an attempt to drum up more business. Somehow, despite his lack of practise, Tom eventually stumbles his way into a romance with dance teacher, Annie, but this is soon in trouble as Tom faces his past demons and insecurities. The line dancing group encounter trouble of their own in the form of a traitor in their midst who splits the group and threatens their future as they prepare for a big line dancing weekend. 

All original edited tracks used in the 2024 production are available on request, though companies must seek their own PRS approvals for use.

Set in the run down design studio of ‘WTBI?’ run by owner Ken Bunten. One of their key clients includes Ashton Drake Interiors, Libby’s one-woman company.

Libby has a new pet charity, set up in honour of husband Ed. She believes that, through her planned charity fun run, she could be finally launched into ‘Lenny Henry’ territory. Keen to show the world her supreme talent for charitable caring, she entrusts ‘WTBI?’ to create a campaign concept. Senior designer, Sean struggles for ideas whilst the creative potential of junior designer Touchy is ignored, though not by new receptionist Amanda, who attempts to shapeshift her way into his affections.

Sean breaks in late at night in a mission impossible Tom Cruise style  to steal Touchy’s ideas and use them for himself whilst Ken’s grumpy demeanour hides a secret that makes the whole project more painful.

Based on a true story and set in the early sixties, in a time before disabilities in children were treated as they are now. Then they were often swept under the carpet.

Karen is a six year old girl who is going blind. Played throughout by her older self, Karen is aware she has problems with her sight, but not sure of the extent. Her fear of the dark and the monsters it brings a bit more real than for many children. The arrival of a new baby brother prompts her parents to realise that they cannot cope with Karen’s impending disability and enrol her in a special school.
