It’s Christmas Day in the Trimmings household; Devoted sisters Patsy and Tracy are slaving away cooking Christmas dinner while the men folk are down the pub. Grandpa sits in his chair expecting his yearly Christmas snowball while Patsy’s daughter, Gemma, eagerly inspects the presents under their fantastic tree. Yet all is not as it seems. What does Kylie, Gemma’s university friend, need to tell Gemma so urgently that it cannot wait? And why does Kath, the annoying neighbour, have a problem with Christmas Day?

Jim and his wife have been coming to Mrs Daniels’ guesthouse on the Isle of Wight for several years. Jim likes to brag about his sex life. Mrs Daniels takes it all in her stride. However, she and Jim are shocked when they discover that new arrivals, Sophie, Lucy and Peter, are not what they seem. Sophie thinks Lucy is in love with her, but Lucy and “best friend” Peter are using Sophie as a pawn in their sordid sex games. Jim befriends Sophie and by doing so, realizes that maybe the time has come for him to reveal that his wife has been dead for a year.

This is the difficult decision facing the friends and family of Martin Wallace, when they meet the new love of his life, Carol, and discover that she is a blow-up doll. A comedy about love, life, and latex.

Then one day she meets a stranger in a café claiming to be Cassie. She also tells Mandy that she’s a time traveller. Is the stranger really Cassie or a deranged girl out to open old wounds from the past?
